Project Description: The senior developer will report to the Development Team Lead and will be responsible for n-tier/distributed application development using web services with C# and Visual Studio 2010. The primary focus will be making enhancements to the main client facing Web portal (in 4.0 with MVC framework) and making enhancements to the windows-based application (in 4.0 with MVP). Design and Development will be done using object-oriented design principles and rule-based software design and implementation. This resource will create business logic based on service-oriented architecture and be responsible for successful delivery of complex systems on tight deadlines. This candidate will participate in design of software to meet business requirements in a highly participatory process. They will also play a key role on data integration and middle tier teams delivering code supporting middle tier business logic and data access layers. Implement code modules in C# supporting windows & Web applications as necessary to meet requirements / design. Provide documentation as required. Participate in code reviews, planning sessions and daily status stand-ups. Work with a highly diverse team and in a goal oriented environment. Required Skills: - C# (5 years) - Visual Studio 2010 experience - SQL Server 2008 - (5 years) - Experience with Iterative or Agile rapid delivery process (i.e., SCRUM) - Must be able to create tables using DDL, and write complex stored procedures - Good communication skills to provide effective documentation - Good time management skills - Must be detail-oriented, security conscious, and proficient in troubleshooting - Expertise with ORM tools (LLBLGEN PRO prefferred) - Experience with Reporting / business intelligence tools - Techniques including performance tuning - Insurance industry knowledge Educational Requirements: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred, 5 or more years experience required york pa pennsylvania Phone:
