HR Generalist Job Opening in Mesa, Arizona - Community Bridges is growing!
Community Bridges is one of the largest providers of substance abuse/behavioral integrated health treatment in Arizona. We currently have an opening for an HR Generalist at our Corporate Administrative Office located in Mesa.
The HR Generalist performs administrative and paraprofessional tasks in support of the day-to-day operation of CBI?s employee benefit programs, and provides support and assistance to employees regarding FMLA and non-FMLA leave programs. The Generalist is also responsible for the on-boarding of new employees within the agency for an assigned AZ region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Manages and processes the full onboarding process beginning with the job offer, through the new hire paperwork processing and extending service throughout employment.
Establishes and maintains credibility throughout the organization with management and employees in order to function as an internal advisor regarding employee relations, performance issues, and career development.
Manages workers compensation claims, and communicates with the insurance agency to ensure accurate reporting is provided.
Administers and coordinates various benefits including health insurance, dental, life, vision, and other benefits; Ensures the accurate and timely processing of enrollments, terminations, additions and changes.
Ensures compliance with all legal requirements and government reporting regulations related to the employment, including but not limited to EEO, FLSA guidelines, harassment and discrimination, and other applicable federal and state requirements while maintaining and promoting a safe and positive work environment.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the HR field, with experience in ADA, Leave Administration, Benefit Administration and Employee Relations.
Healthcare experience in HR with the ability to work within a medical atmosphere and separate from staff while on a hospital unit.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred
Valid AZ Driver?s License with a 39 month clear MVR.
Skills :
Solid knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources
Solid knowledge and understanding in the administration of benefits programs
Solid knowledge and understanding in the administration of FMLA and non-FMLA leave programs.
Experience with navigating the Ultipro HRIS system is a plus; Experience with Word, Excel, and database systems is required
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and management staff
Requires effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
