Position
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team! You will be responsible for the analysis of client needs and business problems, and the documentation and development of practical solutions. You will work directly with end users, management, and other developers to lead and/or participate in the design, implementation, and deployment of web applications.
Responsibilities
Development
Write well-documented and maintainable code
Regularly commit and push code using source control
Follow standardized source control workflows when creating and merging development branches
Review peers? code and provide/receive constructive feedback
Write and maintain unit tests for all new development
Correct flaws discovered by requirements testing
Record all work by creating and updating tickets using issue tracking software * Planning
Lead and/or participate in design meetings
Clearly and thoroughly document design plans
Estimate level of effort prior to actual implementation * Client Interaction
Regularly communicate development status to clients and team members
Demo on-going and/or completed work
Record and track issues discovered and requests made by clients and team members
Maintain a friendly and assuring demeanor when communicating with clients
Qualifications
Excellent critical analysis and practical problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with current software development languages and techniques
Basic knowledge of web applications and client-server architecture
Basic knowledge of architectural and design patterns
Ability to effectively communicate goals and needs with team members and clients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Compensation
This is a full-time position with salary of approximately $45,000 to $50,000 annually. We also match 401K contributions of up to 5% of salary and offer monthly stipends for health insurance and gym membership.
