Overview
The Senior Consultant ? Human Resource Generalist will support a federal agency with their strategic and operational human resource requirements. The Senior Consultant ? Human Resource Generalist will serve as an integral part of the team supporting human resource operational requirements for a large security organization. This work will be done working as part of a contract support team. This contract is full-time on the client site in Washington, DC. Additionally, as an important member of a growth-oriented company, the Senior Consultant ? Human Resource Generalist will support internal transformation initiatives and business development.
Responsibilities
Conduct compensation and benefits analysis to include compensation, pay administration, classification, and special salary reviews
Conduct policy analysis and compliance reviews for compensation and benefits related issues
Support other HR operations functions including staffing, classification, etc. (such as drafting vacancy announcements, developing recruitment packages)
Provide quality assurance for work completed by junior staff members (i.e., review SF 52s for accuracy)
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience
MS/MA required
Experience supporting federal human resource operations (i.e., staffing, classification, compensation, benefits)
Knowledge of compensation principles, policies and regulations
Ability to perform all job responsibilities independently
Ability to use MS Office products proficiently
Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability background investigation
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year

HR consulting: 10 years
business development, i.e., bringing in new business: 3 years
business development, i.e. growing contracts you are leading: 3 years
supporting federal HR operations (staffing, classification, compensation): 10 years
proposal writing: 3 years
compensation (principles, policies and regulations): 10 years
