Fire Apparatus Sales Associate Job Opening in Naperville, Illinois - We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated salesperson to join our Fire Service Inc. Team, Territory includes Lake , McHenry, Boone, Winnebago, Ogle, and Lee Counties in Illinois. Summary of essential duties and responsibilities:
Fire Apparatus sales to municipalities and fire protection districts.
Presentations and demonstrations throughout assigned territory to develop customer base
Development of apparatus specifications using computer software
Development of pricing worksheets for submission to management
Bid preparation
Audit Fire Department Apparatus and Equipment Inventory Worksheet
Supply monthly forecast for territory
Delivery of apparatus and willingness to obtain a Class B CDL
Attend trade shows or any other outside functions
Requirements: Must be computer literate, highly motivated, with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail Knowledge of Fire industry and equipment a plus Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory Valid CDL required or must obtain within 180 days of employment Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent and two or more year's related experience and/or training. Outside sales experience Interpersonal Skills Ability to deal with a variety of customers in an enthusiastic, cheerful manner.
