Accountant / Tax Preparer Job Opening in Farmington, New mexico - We are looking for the right accounting professional to join our firm! We're particularly interested in applicants who are CPA's, CPA candidates, enrolled agents, and those with extensive experience in personal and business income tax preparation as well as full-charge accounting.
Responsibilities:
Review and analysis of clients' general ledger data and financial information
QuickBooks data entry, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
Payroll processing and preparation of applicable forms and reports
Income tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Working one-on-one with clients while providing tax and accounting support
Qualifications:
At least two years of recent extensive income tax preparation experience
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Full-charge accounting experience and/or expertise in using accounting software
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail along with the ability to work in a time-efficient manner
