Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in New York, New york - Regional Sales Manager ? Northeast/Midwest Territories
TR Nutritionals, a leading bulk raw material supplier of dietary ingredients with a strong focus on personalized customer service, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for its Northeast and Midwest territories. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated, self-starting professional as this position will be based in a home-office within the territory.
Responsibilities
Cultivating new accounts to expand TR Nutritionals sales presence in the Northeast and Midwest Regions.
Act as the primary interface between customers and TR Nutritionals for accounts within the territory.
Strategic planning to identify & develop new accounts as well as expanding business at existing accounts.
Promote TR Nutritionals? product line through Purchasing, R&D and Quality channels.
Networking at trade shows and other industry events.
Requirements
Significant sales experience within the dietary supplement, food and/or pet food industries.
Extensive existing relationship network within the territory.
Exceptional follow-up and customer service skills.
Regular travel within the territory and to industry trade shows & events as appropriate.
Ability to present in a confident and professional manner, both in person and digitally.
Technical, scientific or dietary background a plus. At minimum, a basic understanding of typical technical properties of dietary ingredients is a must.
Strong ability to work independently.
