Team Lead-Fairfax Hospital Job Opening in Falls Church, Virginia - Under the supervision and direction of the MHS Manager, the Team Lead arranges the service experience for clients while working alongside coworkers to ensure the site?s service standards are met or exceeded. Under the direction of the Manager, the Team Lead has additional duties involving coordination and administration, as well as providing guidance when the manager is not on-site.
Current opening is a full time position from 11PM - 7AM Monday-Friday. Candidates MUST have a CDL license.
Main Duties:
Is familiar with all aspects of operations for which the team lead is responsible.
If necessary, can fill in for any position or perform any service required by that location.
Promotes a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills
Leads the work group in delivering high levels of guest service.
Assists the Manager in the training, re-training and development of employees.
Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors, both orally and in writing.
Keeps records that are current, accurate, and accessible.
Remains composed under pressure and maintains control in all situations.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualification and Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
Must be able to work legally in the United States.
Must pass background and drug screenings.
Previous experience in one or more of the areas in which the team lead will supervise others.
Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
May be required to meet immunization or health screening requirements through providing personal records or undergoing testing and, if required, further immunizations or tests.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Regularly required to run, stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Must be able to push and pull 75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distances.
Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required.
