Scope and Description
This position is responsible for various office duties as assigned. This position reports to the Production and Inventory Control Manager.
Responsibilities
Basic duties and responsibilities
Assist in purchasing functions by ordering specific products as directed (approximately 1.5 - 2.0 hours per day)
Perform daily invoicing for shipped orders
Print STK's daily for new orders
Outputting daily production data
Reject verification
Error communication
Perform backup functions for:
International paperwork
Bill of ladings
Answering incoming phone lines and forwarding calls as necessary
Ensuring proper visitor paperwork is filled out prior to plant tour
Order routings
Production control
Backup other office personnel as required
Communication
Communicate with accounting personnel with invoicing concerns
Communicate purchasing concerns with purchasing
Inform customer service of any obstacles to order shipment due to paperwork issues
Accepts other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned or as need becomes apparent
