Purpose of Position:
You will supervise the operation of the business office, building repair and maintenance,and serve as advisor to the superintendent and the board.
Responsibilities:
Serve as financial officer for the district.
Investing the funds of the district within district policy and guidelines.
Work with administrative staff and superintendent to budget and to prepare business models for effective and efficient program operations.
Administer the wage and salary program.
Organize, supervise, train, and evaluate business office employees.
Close the books at the end of the fiscal year, prepare them for audit, and liaise with auditors. Review contracts for grants, goods, and services.
Manage workers compensation claims.
Serve as executive secretary and financial advisor to the business managers?organization of constituent school districts.
Position Requirements and Experience:
Either: A degree in in accounting software/Five years supervisory experience in a business office setting/School district business manager experience (preferred)
Or: The equivalent combination of experience, training, certification, education or degree as determined by the district that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be used as an alternative to prerequisites.
And: An Oregon driver license
