Phoenix Pumps, Inc. is a leading pump for Arizona. The company offers innovative pumping solutions & integrated supply services that utilizes Phoenix Pumps vast product knowledge in pumps, flow meters, filtration and accessories. Phoenix Pumps is a stocking distributor with repair and fabrication capabilities to provide total customer solutions. Phoenix Pumps is looking for an experienced inside sales representative.
The inside sales representative provide a combination of technical support and sales skills to our customer base, introduce new products and work to develop relationships with customers. The ISR is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers, making product recommendations based on the customer application, tracking quotes, following-up on quotations and closing sales opportunities and other additional tasks as required.
Responsibilities
develop a thorough understanding of products.
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with current and potential customers
Help support Outside Sales Representatives as required by providing necessary data, publications, quotations, etc.
Organizes and prioritizes sales calls and quotations.
Quotation process to include: material recommendation, selection & price. Prepare proposal, follow-up and close the sales while ensuring critical deadlines are met.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications & establishing and maintaining personal networks.
Daily reporting of sales activity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
Mechanical and Industrial knowledge required
Mas 90 / Sage 100 experience preferred
Requirements
Self motivated individual
Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, computer literacy, a high sense of urgency with a high degree of organizational skills.
Candidates must be able to work within a team environment, multi-task, meet deadlines, and have a positive attitude.
Business degree or Mechanical / Industrial Engineering degree preferred but not required.
