Sales Prospecting Specialist Job Opening in Lenexa, Kansas - We are seeking a driven, outgoing Sales Prospecting Specialist to join our sales team and play an important role in the company?s growth. We offer market competitive compensation including incentives, a base salary of $30,000 plus commissions and bonuses, with the ability to earn $35k - $40k+.
In this opportunity, you will be 1 of 10 individuals in our Business Development Center. This is not your typical "call center!" You will assist 1 or 2 franchise locations by calling into prospective clients and learning about their building maintenance and janitorial pain points, with the goal of setting a sales appointment for the Sales Executive that works in that market. City Wide is looking for someone that is interested or experienced in sales, has the ability to make 80 calls a day, and that is willing to learn from others with the goal of building a career with our growing company.

As a candidate, you will ideally have:
Associates degree (or equivalent)
Previous experience prospecting B2B () in a high-volume sales environment or in a similar position
Team player mentality
Energetic and courteous personality
Engaging, professional phone voice
Ability to take direction, follow through and multi-task
Ability to work under pressure and meet changing requirements in a fast-paced environment
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
