Insurance Verification Specialist Job Opening in Portsmouth, New hampshire - Collectivity, a full-service billing, collections, and consulting agency for physical therapy practices nationwide, is growing its staff. We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to coordinate patient insurance verification through the following key responsibilities:
Calls insurance carrier to confirm insurance benefits for every new patient.
Confirms and coordinates information, enters in system, monitors status, and processes re-authorizations as needed, soliciting necessary information from therapists.
Maintains consistent and effective communication with staff to ensure accuracy and completeness
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
At least two years? medical office experience
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance benefits and the referral and authorization process
High school diploma
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to stay focused in a fast paced environment, manage time efficiently, and multi-task
