Inside Sales Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - Overview
The Reading Rock RockCast inside salesperson is an integral member of the sales and marketing team assisting outside sales with project and client development and territory management driving sales through account development and direct sales in specified territory.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Direct Territory Development: Develop relationships with influencers in direct markets, targeting opportunities and increasing quote activity and sales
Distributor Account Management: work with distributors to increase; specifications, quote log and sales.
Expand Ready Distributors in open markets.
Lead Development: Utilize industry-leading search engines to identify target projects and clients. Support Outside Sales by managing search database.
Quote Generation: Generate, submit and track quotes to distributors and contractors in direct markets.
Project Development: Facilitate marketing efforts including sample coordination, marketing collateral, technical product details, and etc.
Presentation: Ability to prepare, present and facilitate AIA Lunch & Learn presentations.
Site Support: Field visits as needed.
Network: Attend industry events as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in technical and business training events for personal and professional development.
Other position-related duties as needed & assigned.
Experience
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of construction industry experience preferred.
Education: High school diploma required. Business college degree from an accredited program preferred.
Technology: Microsoft Office required. CRM and ERP preferred.
Key competencies
Proactive, team-based philosophy toward client satisfaction.
Ability to read construction documents and conduct quantity takeoffs.
Limited travel with some overnight potential.
Highly organized with effective time management skills.
High business acumen with excellent, oral, nonverbal, and written skills.
Valid driver?s license and good driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
