Description:
Material Management Technician is responsible for tracking raw material information to keep supply chains on schedule and maintaining accuracy of reported inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
Record raw material movement in the accounting system.
Perform cycle counts of raw materials
Perform stock counts
Verify and maintain accuracy of inventory records.
Weigh chemicals and record scrap data
Requisition raw materials for purchase
Root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement.
Required Skills:
Strong math skills
Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Tech license
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Experience with an MRP system
Problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively across all business departments
Ability to lift more than 50lb
Ability to operate heavy machinery such as a lift
