Commercial Truck Sales Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Lee-Smith, Inc. is a 75+ year old commercial truck dealership based in Chattanooga, TN that is looking to grow our sales team with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for creating the best experience for our customers. The person we are looking for must enjoy working with a diverse group of customers with a wide range of interests and possess the ability to develop long-term relationships.
Essential Job Functions
Essential job functions include working with commercial accounts for the purpose of selling trucks. These contacts will be made by phone, internet, and in person visits. The individual will put together and make product presentations as well as explain technical aspects and benefits of the products. Technical training will be provided. Attendance at trade-shows and other out of town travel will be necessary on occasion. The individual will be required to update and maintain our customer data system.
Requirements
Previous sales experience and a mechanical aptitude are required
Must be able to comprehend and work with specifications and technical data
Like working with people
Have a positive and competitive personality
Be a detailed, self-starter
Possess great math and computer skills
Be proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a team environment
The ability to travel and a clean driving record
A Bachelor's degree is preferred
Compensation
Current salesperson compensation ranges from $52K to over $100K per year. And there are strong opportunities for growth in responsibilities and compensation. This is a full time position with a full benefit package including Medical, Dental, and 401(k).
