Administrative Assistant - Healthcare Job Opening in Mukilteo, Washington - Benefit Solutions, Inc., a well-respected, mid-sized Third Party Administrator (TPA) of employee benefits, located in Mukilteo, WA, is recruiting for a full time Employee Benefits Administrative Assistant. The focus of the position is to provide customer service and data entry of enrollment, working directly to support large Trusts and position reports directly to the Account Manager and contributes to the operational effectiveness of their department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic knowledge of state and federal benefit laws and regulations, including HIPAA, COBRA, CDHP products, FMLA and ERISA.
Performs daily administrative tasks; client interactions via US mail, email, fax and telephone support.
Provide Client administration through system helpdesks, eligibility data entry, auditing,file management, billing statements, month end closings and account reconciliation.
Provide excellent customer service using oral and written communication skills with above average utilization of conflict resolution skills.
May process or assist in compiling reports in an effective and timely manner.
Other duties as assigned to meet or exceed business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Eligibility and customer service experience in the health insurance industry preferably with a General Agent, Producer or Insurance Carrier.
Must demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills and ability to produce accurate work in a timely manner.
Intermediate to advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly too all levels of internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from Lead or Manager in a fast paced, deadline driven, work environment.
Adaptable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure within tight deadlines.
Previous experience auditing invoices, reports and data entry.
Professional appearance, attitude, and excellent work ethic.
A collaborative and supportive approach to problem solving and a desire to work in a fast paced team oriented environment.

2 ? 5 years? experience in the healthcare insurance industry.
2 ? 5 years? customer service utilizing computer and telecommunication devices.
1 - 3 years auditing invoices and/or data entry as well as reporting on findings.
