We are looking for the right candidate to join our executive management team. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading an experienced team of Sales Managers. We are currently looking for someone with a proven track record to develop and support a senior team of both inside and outside sales. You must be successful at developing and cultivating relationships with key business partners and an existing customer base. Candidates must be willing to travel, possess strong decision-making abilities, and exceptional negotiation skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop plans and strategies for increasing business and achieving the company?s sales goals
Manage the sales team and resources to deliver profitable growth
Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
Plan, attend and actively participate in all training and sales meetings
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Work closely with International Sales Representatives to develop and maintain key relationships
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop and maintain key relationships
Evaluating the company?s independent representative network
Proven experience selling in up, down, and midstream market segments
Proven experience selling automation, IT Equipment, software, or control systems
Experience managing and building a global sales force
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Science/Engineering
Proven track record with 10+ years in the oil and gas industry
15+ years of progressive sales experience in an engineered-to-order (ETO) environment
International sales strategy experience
Skill Requirements:
Experience managing a minimum of 5 + sales representatives
10+ years? B2B sales experience, technology sales experience preferred
Experience with both inside and outside sales
Experience with CRM Systems
Salary: Base salary plus commission
Travel: 20% international travel
