Staff Accountant (Manufacturing) Job Opening in Hudson, New hampshire - Integra Biosciences is an industry leader of innovative liquid handling products within the life sciences industry. Integra is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee our accounting department. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, developing internal accounting controls, tracking high volume corporate client accounts and building a strong financial team.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
To support the accounting team while maintaining our company culture
Ultimately responsible for performance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and adhering to goals set for each
Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies
Assisting with month/year end closings, i.e. journal entries and bank reconciliations
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience in Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment
Bachelor?s Degree in business, accounting, operations, or a related field
Ability to assist in preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
A cost systems background is strongly preferred and candidate should have excellent analytical skills and a sound understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent work ethics and history of being dependable
Good organizational and communication skills and capable of multi-tasking
Ability to constructively supervise a small staff
