PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The DSFederal Solution Architect is an individual contributor, cross functional role that includes technical solution development, proposal support and customer facing sales in support of DSFederal solutions to new and existing responsibilities are to work directly with customers to develop an understanding of their requirements and offer solutions options accordingly. Successful candidate will work effectively across functions with other DSFederal employees to support proposal responses and work with the Management and IT Solutions teams and partners to develop repeatable solutions for DSFederal market segments. The Solutions Architect acts as an advocate for delivering solid technological solutions that are secure, maintainable and are in alignment with the company strategic direction. This role will manage technical concepts, to support a comprehensive, focused approach in delivering and integrating solutions, taking into consideration the current capabilities, needs, infrastructure requirements and market : ? Demonstrated strong performance as a technical leader working in an on-site and virtual environment.? Must possess a broad technical background encompassing GUI, Business layer and database development and support.? Has direct impact on creation of technical services/solutions. ? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices. Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems.? Experience developing and pricing Solutions for proposals.? Plan and estimate development tasks and work to improve performance metrics.? Leads the solution development process to identify the value drivers of the client need and develop effective and innovative solutions.? Helps to identify capability gaps/competitive strengths and weaknesses and relevant requirements necessary to close gaps to win the bid.? Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.? Participate in Design Reviews, Sprint Planning, estimating, Release Planning, demonstrations and retrospectives.? Perform hands-on technical work, as required.? Serves as interface with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are thoroughly understood and accounted for in the solution development and pricing processes.? Coordinates necessary technical interchanges with clients to ? Serves as a role model and Skills : ? Requirements:
Working knowledge of agile engineering principles, Scrum agile, or SAFe Agile methodologies? 8-10 years related technical experience? Subject Matter Expert in network and system architecture (subsystems, interfaces, hardware and software dependencies). ? Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, DevOps.
