Insurance Sales Representative Job Opening in South Jordan, Utah - We are looking for an Insurance Sales Representative to join our agency! Position pays a base hourly wage plus commission. Avg. sales rep makes approx. $20.00/hour with potential to make more.
Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Create sales material to present to customers
Must be comfortable making 30+ phone calls per day (no cold calls, names are generated and provided to you through the agency and American Family Insurance).
Network with local small business owners to generate referrals*
* Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales and customer service
Computer skills and understanding of basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
If not obtained already, candidate will need to obtain Property and Casualty insurance license, followed by Life and Health insurance licenses. (license costs are reimbursed to sales rep. upon passing license exam).
Compensation:
Base plus commission - avg. pay equates to approx. $20/hour with potential to make MUCH MORE!
Bonuses given for reaching agency goals.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Occasional Saturdays
