Accounting Assistant/Part-Time Job Opening in Saint Charles, Missouri - This is a part-time position with approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. This position will work Monday through Friday during tax season and can grow into more hours as our client base continues to grow. Primary responsibilities include bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, data entry and posting of transactions. Special projects are assigned as required. We are a public accounting, tax and payroll firm so this position will be working with multiple clients using a customized approach to bookkeeping and accounting. This position will have some direct contact with clients and will be working on multiple projects on a daily basis. Good people skills and the ability to multi-task are a must for this position. Associate degree or higher in accounting is preferred. At least 2 years of work experience with bank reconciliations, data entry, accounts payable and accounting entries is a must.
