Sales Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Job Description:
CAM develops, manufacturers, imports and manages a wide array of branded and private label products in the specialty food and beverage arena. We are seeking a professional salesperson to ambitiously expand revenue and profit growth.
Under general direction, this position develops and maintains key accounts and channels of trade to meet CAM sales goals, focuses on target markets and new product viability.
Essential Duties:
Manage, maintain and grow all sales channels, including key accounts & distributors.
Utilize and manage brokers as needed to best exploit and sell our product portfolio.
Participate in establishing accurate forecasts and sales budgets.
Create, design, implement and manage sales plans and promotional schedules for each channel of trade within budget parameters.
Create compelling sales presentations.
Create, implement and execute creative marketing plans to assist in establishing brand presence.
Meet or exceed sales projections, while staying on budget with both revenue and spending targets.
Search for new product opportunities while in the field.
Qualifications:
Some sales experience is preferred. Does not have to be food industry / CPG related, although this would be ideal.
The ability to manage a strategic plan and deliver on plan objectives is imperative.
Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to ?think on one?s feet.?
Self- starter with an enthusiastic sales personality.
Salary and bonus structure based upon experience
