CPA or Senior Accountant Job Opening in Paola, Kansas - Position available with locally owned accounting firm. Person will be involved with general ledger postings, month-end close, financial statement preparation, , tax preparation and special projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or tax preparation
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency
Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments
Proficient use of applicable technology; specifically Microsoft Office Applications and QuickBooks
