Position Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Demand Generation Manager is responsible for supporting & maintaining Verst Group Logistics marketing & sales strategy to drive business growth from prospects and customers across all Verst business units.
Sales support responsibilities include project management on large scale opportunities, CRM Dynamics administration, lead qualification, oversight and coordination of outbound call center vendor and management of customer events.
Marketing responsibilities include development and execution of a fully integrated marketing plan including development and management of the overall budget, digital web presence including design and content, demand generation, account based marketing campaigns, sales collateral, sponsorships and related events.
Essential Functions:
Oversee Management of Dynamics CRM tool.
Support weekly pipeline meetings, monitoring sales performance and identifying and reporting on trends.
Build out bid proposal responses and work directly with sales to construct presentations and business reviews.
Develop the marketing calendar; plan and amplify content.
Create innovative campaigns that generate demand.
Produce integrated email campaigns.
Manage budget to deliver projects on time and within budget expectations.
Work with agency to manage the performance of an SEO/SEM strategy through multiple online channels.
Marginal Functions:
Trains users as necessary to enable them to utilize the Sales computer systems.
Write and submit articles both for internal and external sources.
Work with third parties to co-ordinate photo shoots and videos.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and/or collaborate as a member of a team
Job Specifications:
Minimum of five years business experience. Bachelor's degree in marketing, technology or related discipline, or equivalent - MBA preferred.
Experience in working directly with marketing and advertising services organizations.
Experience with email marketing and web technology tools such as Constant Contact and Sitefinity web CMS.
Demonstrated project planning skills and strong oral and written communications skills.
Experience with PowerPoint and building presentations
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Adobe graphic design software including Illustrator and/or InDesign, knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and/or collaborate as a member of a team.
Comfortable in a very fast-paced environment balancing priorities and deadlines capable of multi-tasking, with excellent organization and time management skills.
Solid understanding of digital and social technology.
