Founded in 1959, Maui Divers Jewelry is the largest jewelry manufacturer and retailer in Hawaii. Renowned for its unique, high-quality handcrafted designs featuring pearls, precious corals, Hawaiian gold, diamonds and other beautiful gemstones, the company owns and operates 35 concept locations?Maui Divers Jewelry, Island Pearls and Pick-A-Pearl. All the jewelry it produces is designed and created locally at our Jewelry Design Center in Honolulu.

Responsibilities:
Achieve store sales goals by motivating the staff and setting the standard in your personal sales. Stay in tune with what type of customer is coming in that day and direct your team?s focus towards that customer type with daily team motivational meetings. Achieve your personal monthly sales goals.
Achieve store sales goals by training the staff. Make sure that training checklists/cards are being filled out as training is done in the store. Also, train and direct staff to follow all company programs.
Achieve store sales goals by making the weekly store schedule to ensure maximum coverage. Use the Sales by Time of Day, Budget, and Flash Reports to balance sales and labor and hit our sales per hour target.
Complete required reports timely.
Be aware of all inventory coming in and going out from your store. Control inventory losses by training staff on security and by thoroughly completing monthly case counts.
Motivate, Encourage, Coach and Counsel staff.
Develop future leaders.
Maintain the cleanliness of the store and office as well as the functionality of all lights and equipment. Refresh and maintain the visual displays.

Qualifications:
2+ years of retail sales management experience
Japanese language proficiency
Proactive self-starter
Problem solving skills
Team player
Conducts self in a professional manner
