Retail Sales Associate Job Opening in Kailua, Hawaii - Island Olive Oil Company is seeking friendly, organized, energetic and persuasive people to join our team as retail sales associates at our new Kailua location. We have both full and part time positions currently available. Customer service is our top priority. As a retail sales associate at Island Olive Oil, your primary duty will be to help customers make purchases by recommending, describing and demonstrating our wide variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. We ensure our customers have a great experience by helping them taste all the products in the store to ensure they receive a ?true tasting experience?.
Although we?re essentially a retail store, we?re still a food establishment. Our oils and vinegars are food products. As such, good personal hygiene, professional appearance, clean hands, and be able to follow food safety and health department established guidelines.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to love food, work independently, communicate well and be willing to assist with a variety of tasks from filling bottles and wrapping gifts to educating customers about our products. Being flexible and the ability to multi-task in this dynamic retail environment will be the keys to your success. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
