Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - A commercial printing company is seeking an exceptional, talented individual to join operations in our growing company as a Outside Sales Representative in the Baltimore/Hunt Valley areas. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and competitive sales environment. You will build professional relationships with and sell to customers from a variety of industries. Our Outside Sales Representatives plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. They are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery. The ideal Outside Sales Representative candidate will be able to successfully demonstrate our products, achieve sales objectives, offer superior service and product knowledge, grow existing accounts within their territories, and develop new customers. Our Outside Sales Representatives must be driven and able to work independently, including developing their own route and schedule in order to consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quota attainment, and expand our family of customers.
Outside Sales Representative Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Source and develop client referrals
Prepare sales action plans and strategies
Schedule sales activity
Make sales calls to new and existing clients
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Follow up on sales activity
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
New business to business account development
Generating revenue and meeting sales quotas
Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities
Outside Sales Representative Education and Experience:
Proven ability to achieve sales targets
2+ year track record of being a highly-engaged, highly successful sales rep that has built, managed and grown a valuable client base
Local Travel required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated, results-oriented, team player
Ability to work independently within a team environment
