Tax Manager Job Opening in Parkersburg, West virginia - We are seeking a Tax Manager/Supervisor to participate in all aspects of our Tax and Accounting practice. The Tax Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients and leverages our entire team to deliver a consistent superior client experience.

Tax Manager Responsibilities
Trains and advises staff on tax developments and reviews and evaluates their work.
Assume responsibility for the firm for technical excellence in one or more specialty areas.
Manages multiple clients and demonstrates knowledge of clients? business.
Represent clients before tax authorities.
Monitor progress of engagements of assigned clients in relation to budgets and due dates.
Responsible for billing and collections of assigned clients.
Represent the firm in the community and builds new and existing client relationships.
Preparation, review and signing of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.
Builds new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA license required
Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience
Tax experience with and estate planning
Minimum of 2 years of significant supervisory experience
Must work independently and have ability to finish and sign returns
Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year depending on experience
