Tax Accountant Job Opening in Charleston, West virginia - Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced tax accounting professionals for our tax team. As part of our talented team of tax accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of tax engagements. You will have the opportunity to build strong professional relationships with partners and clients, work in diverse client-service environments, effectively communicate and assist our clients in developing strategies to best service their business needs.
Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepare and/or review business and individual tax returns.
Develop effective working relationships with partners and clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
Ability to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Current CPA or progression towards completing certification
2+ years of relevant tax experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience with CCH software is a plus
Experience with tax research software
