Health plan specialist (medical coders/paralegals welcome) Job Opening in Winchester, Virginia - Boutique healthcare consulting firm in need of associates with an entrepreneurial spirit. As a Contracting Specialist in the SCG Health Division, the candidate will support Client needs for health plan relations, insurance contract management, fee schedule management and credentialing support. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and Client support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. They should also be able to conduct research, identify primary sources (contractual, regulatory and government guidance) and have strong written communication skills. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting demanding Clients. Paralegals, medical billers and certified coders are highly encouraged to apply! This position is onsite in our Winchester, Virginia office. NO TELECOMMUTING AVAILABLE.
The candidate should have the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Candidates should excel under pressure and be comfortable juggling multiple projects at the same time. A sense of humor is helpful too with this team! MUST HAVE:
