Customer Service Specialist Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Provide assistance by phone to inquiries regarding a patient?s medical bill and taking the appropriate action necessary to resolve claim.
Essential Functions
Handle telephone call inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
Take appropriate action based on the nature of the phone call. These actions may include: answering questions regarding the outstanding bill, changing insurance information and refilling claims, changing patient demographic information, setting up patient payment plans, producing itemized bills, etc.
Produce DTB for Accounts Receivable Specialist when warranted.
Record nature of phone call and subsequent action taken in each patient?s accounts.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare field.
