We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Controller / Office Manager to perform Accounting/HR activities as well as general office management. We offer flexible hours with a schedule of approximately 20 ? 30 hours per week. This position requires a well-organized, detail oriented & dependable person that is able to work independently or collaboratively with design teams to control project budgets. This person will prepare monthly financial reports for the owners in addition to routine interaction with clients and their accounting personnel. Strong communication skills and professionalism are required.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably Accounting
Five to seven years accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, processes and procedures
Fluency in MS Excel, MS Word is required.
Familiarity with Workamajig (accounting and project management software) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Enter and pay all accounts payable
Create client invoices every 2 weeks
Enter all client payments
Client collection calls as needed
Maintain cash flow report
Bank reconciliation
Journal Entries
Create monthly financial statements for review with owners
Review project budgets and projections with design team
Coordinate with outside accounting firm for year-end closing of financials
Administer company Health & Dental Insurance plans, 401k, FSA & HRA plans
Submit monthly payroll to Paychex
Handle all HR related tasks including new hires, terminations, changes in benefits, etc.
Answer phones & greet visitors
Order supplies
Open mail
Filing
General office organization and planning
Facilitate interaction with IT consultant
Interact with building management
Misc. administrative duties as needed
