Responsibilities:
Our Custom Order Specialists follows all customer orders placed with outside vendors from initial placement to completion. They keep all stakeholders (customer, vendor, and internal employees) appraised of the order status and resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency and an eye towards process improvement.
This job might be for you if:
You have experience working in a high volume, fast-paced roles that required considerable patience, focus and follow-through ? such as customer support, problem resolution or procurement.
You thrive in an environment where juggling many tasks is needed because. Frequent interruptions don?t bother you but rather allow you to demonstrate your skills.
You maintain a high level of focus and dedication to your job at all times; nothing falls through the cracks. You are able to remember complex details catching mistakes before they happen.
You can think critically and analytically on your feet if anything out of the ordinary comes along.
Balancing constantly changing priorities does not leave you stressed because you know every order you touch is important to someone, so it is important to you.
You understand communication is important and would rather give someone bad news while fixing the problem than just waiting for the problem to be resolved. You can craft professional emails and you?re not afraid to pick up the phone to speak with customers, vendors or co-workers.
You handle things independently, but understand when things need to be escalated and when you need to involve others.
Everyone is confident in your answers as they are complete, meticulous and they know no one could have gotten back to them faster because you are tenacious when getting information.
You recognize when processes can be improved and actively seek solutions. You also pride yourself on follow-through to make sure the fixes are implemented.
Education: BS or BA degree preferred
