Bookkeeper Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Bookkeeper position available with freight forwarding company near the airport. Candidate needs solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles, data entry skills, knowledge of Excel and strong attention to detail. Seeking candidate that has Associate's Degree in Accounting or higher or equivalent business experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of Great Plains accounting software. Position will have variety of duties including bank statement reconciliations, recording day to day financial transactions bringing books to trial balance stage, g/l coding of Accounts Payable invoices, vendor contact and entry/printing of weekly vendor check runs.
