Due to company growth, we are looking to increase staff and hire a full time Billing Assistant in our Kent, WA location.
Summary: The Accounting Clerk is in a high-performance, customer-focused team environment and is responsible for a number of customer-oriented tasks.
Running credit card receipts, batching payment amounts
Posting payments
Reconciling skills
Filing skills
Ability to communicate with providers and patients professionally
Reviewing billing accounts to determine payment amounts
Other duties as assigned
Strong customer service orientation
Computer proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Data entry.
Commitment to company values
Knowledge of Microsoft applications required. (i.e. Word, Excel)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible and willing to learn.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Must have an excellent sense of priorities
Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
Strong attention to detail orientation
Excellent communication and listening skills
