Our Seattle office is looking to add the right person to our dynamic and growing company! We are seeking a qualified candidate to help with the success of our accounting team. This person will work closely with the HR and accounting staff.
Job Requirements:
Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
Process payroll in a timely manner
Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
Maintain chart of accounts
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or progressively responsible experience in a relevant business environment. Demonstrable proficiency in QuickBooks required. Working knowledge of relevant Washington State regulations governing small businesses, taxation, and reporting is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi task.
