Education
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience or A.A. with 10+ years experience in semiconductor or related industry.
Experience
Intimate knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of epi, CVD, RTP and wet cleaning processing would be a strong plus. Demonstrated track record of fast troubleshooting and innovative skills to optimize manufacturing equipment. Excellent communication with peers and management.
Job Responsibilities
Build new R&D equipment in close interaction with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
Characterize processes on new equipment with process engineers.
Recommend system improvements and enhancements to program managers and colleagues.
Coordinate facilities work on equipment.
Actively participate in creative process to conceptualize and design novel equipment.
Written reporting on progress of projects. Meet milestones with deliverables as set by supervisor.
Wafer cleaning engineering support including wet processes and DI water systems.
