Medical Technician--Home Health Assessments Job Opening in Rochester, Minnesota - 14-16$ per hour DOE. Advancement opportunities.
Full time positions available for a certified phlebotomist, competent in performing basic medical testing to determine risk stratification for patients that are covered by the major insurance companies within the Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid populations.
TRAVEL IS A MUST. HealthFair will be covering home visits in and around the Rochester, MN area.
Paid training is provided to assist you in targeting long term chronic disease in accordance with HCC, HEDIS, STARS and quality measures in a mobile clinic setting. Our setting offers a variety of point of care testing such as labs, ultrasound, spirometry, ABI and EKG testing to immediately validate old conditions or diagnose new conditions affecting the long-term health of our patients.
Responsibilities include but not limited to- verifying patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment, performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; drawing blood.
Flexibility and the availability to travel is required!
Clean driving record a must!!!!

Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to * Taking medical histories. * Explaining procedures to patients. * Preparing patients for examination. * Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens. * Performing basic laboratory tests.
