Medical Document Processing Specialist Job Opening in Key West, Florida - STAT Informatic Solutions provides services in document imaging, release of information, revenue cycle management, and courier services exclusively to the healthcare industry. We understand the revenue cycle component of record management and focus on customization for each client.
We have a part-time Document Processing Specialist position available at our Key West, FL office (in Lower Keys Medical Center). The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for the daily preparation, scanning, and of medical records and charts. He/she will also responsible for meeting daily production goals (pages per minute) and ensuring the timeliness of processing medical documents.
Pay: Starting at $11.00 ? $12.50 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time from Tuesday - Thursday at 7AM - 3PM (includes alternating Saturday and Sunday).
Job duties may include a combination of the following:
Check and receive in medical charts as they come in.
Verify patient information, prepare, and sort medical documents to be ready for scanning.
Scanning medical documents into the system as necessary.
Ensure all medical chart count balances per batch cover sheet.
Verify and index medical charts into the system and release information to the production queue.
Meet daily production goals established by the management team.
May be responsible for assisting in the training of new hires by utilizing operational knowledge of production processes and company training programs.
May be responsible for checking the production queue as needed.
Assist with quality control and processing of reports as necessary.
Participate in periodic team meetings as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Must have either a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to pass pre-employment screening based on Hospital and Company guidelines and policies.
