SENIOR COUNSEL, LITIGATION /HR COMPLIANCE; MAJOR TECHNOLOGY COMPANY Job Opening in seattle, Washington - SENIOR COUNSEL, LITIGATION /HR COMPLIANCE; MAJOR TECHNOLOGY COMPANY SENIOR COUNSEL, LITIGATION /HR COMPLIANCE; MAJOR TECHNOLOGY COMPANY (Exclusive); PACIFIC NORTHWEST Our client, a premier technology company whose star continues to rise, has exclusively retained us to find an experienced senior Labor and Employment counsel to help them with matters related to compliance with their corporate code of conduct and other internal H.R. and L&E compliance investigations. Among this senior counsel?s high-level duties, they will give advice on these matters, craft related internal plans/policies, supervise and advise on internal H.R. investigations and provide broad-based training on a variety of L&E issues. Other responsibilities will include providing practical advice and counseling regarding general labor and employment issues as necessary. This position will require occasional travel. The ideal candidate will be an experienced labor/employment attorney have extensive understanding of employee grievance policies and procedures, internal investigations and similar human resources-related compliance issues. A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience would be ideal, though otherwise well-credentialed law-firm candidates with suitable backgrounds could still be very viable candidates. Candidates must have a J.D. degree from a top-tier law school and be a member of at least one US state bar. Base requirements for this position include a minimum of 6 full years of employment-related legal experience, a significant portion of which relates to the specific focuses listed above (with at least 2 years at a respected law firm), though more overall experience is preferred. Our client offers very competitive compensation on a scale commensurate with experience, and the compensation package will include significant equity-based compensation.
