Information Services Specialist Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - Title : Electronic Test Engineer, Machine Controls Test Engineer
Location : East Peoria, IL 61611
Duration : 48 months (Two Full-Time Position)
Job Description:
Candidate Responsibilities:
One opening is for employment in the tractor group, and the other is in wheel loaders.
Deliverables to be completed by the Electronic Machine Controls Senior Test Engineer will include:
Independent troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and/or electronic issues on machines
Installing and removing test hardware on machines
Flashing software on machines
Executing software validation tests on machines and recommending next steps based on test results
Documenting software validation completed on machines using standard section guidelines
Planning and executing software development activities on machines
Participating in various meetings to support the above activities
Technical Skills:
Electronic development software tools including:
CAT Electronic Technician
CadetWin
Vector CANape
Typical Day:
Independent troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and/or electronic issues on machines
Installing and removing test hardware on machines

Soft skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication and above average skill in the following areas:
Maintaining a trusting partnership with relevant product groups
Prioritizing tasks effectively
Electronic / electrical system design and testing
Information Technology or Electronic Service Tools
Mobile equipment electrical wiring modification and repair
Instrumentation setup
Heavy Equipment Operation
Basic electronic testing using Digital Volt/Ohm Meters, Digital Oscilloscopes, Function Generators
PC applications including Word and Excel
Education Requirement:
Bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 or more years of directly related work experience.
Must Have a Valid Driver?s License.
