Technical Support Engineer Job Opening in Memphis, Tennessee - This position will have two key roles, they are listed as follows:
QA:
As a Technical Support Engineer at The Seam, you will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, prioritizing, and resolving of issues related to our web based applications. Our Engineers work within a team, collaborating with other developers and analysts to design and develop business applications that support mission critical customer needs. Our Engineers are innovative thinkers who can solve technical challenges with creativity and perseverance. They are experienced with full life cycle development, have a deep understanding of programming disciplines and a strong knowledge of SQL.
Analyze functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues
Work closely with other developers and quality assurance engineers to create fixes and enhancements
Deliver high-quality software that will resolve our customers business needs
Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, answer technical questions from customers, and be able provide efficient technical solutions to problems
Responsibilities also include writing technical documentation
BA:
As a member of the software development team, you will have the opportunity to customize our software solution to fit the clients' requirements. You will use your analysis and interpersonal skills to position all stakeholders for success. Work as part of a team and independently on project tasks assigned.
Capture, consolidate, prioritize, and communicate information from customers to the development team
Act as a bridge between our client and The Seam, representing the best interests of both
Elicit, track and document requirements, write Use Cases, and conduct learning sessions
Attend project meetings, track issues and mitigate risks, and communicating with project team members (internal and client)
Collaborate with internal and external clients to build strong client and partner relationships
Liaise with the development engineers, internal and client, to ensure both sides understand how to apply the requirements and understand how the requirements are being fulfilled
Create test scripts for UAT
Provide custom training to clients
