Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Shelton, Connecticut - Bookkeeper needed for an emerging drug development company. As our drug candidates advance, we need someone who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Core responsibilities:
Perform all bookkeeping and record management for a small research company. Document internal control compliance and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Process vendor invoices and payments. Post journal entries. Inter-company billing.
Process payroll and maintain Human Resource records.
Support accounting manager, preparing reports for management and Auditors.
Manage bank and credit accounts, perform reconciliations for banks and investment accounts.
Qualifications:
Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably with some formal accounting education.
3 years experience with Quickbooks or other accounting program.
Multi-unit/ Project financial management.
Current payroll processing.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Strong organizational skills, including electronic document management.
Proficient with MS Office, and other business programs.
