Bookkeeper Job Opening in Danbury, Connecticut - Title: Bookkeeper
Reports to Controller and receives direction from Property Managers.

Bookkeeper with condominium, commercial and rental property experiences
Job Description
Input all relevant information regarding condominium owners and commercial/rental leases
Maintain the integrity of the accounting system including integrity of data files for assigned properties
Set-up and update monthly charges for recurring monthly posting to the system
Accounts Receivable (issue monthly invoices, record and deposit payments, collections, utility invoice bill back support)
Accounts Payable (enter, code and pay bills, W-9 forms and insurance certificate, 1099 forms)
Journal entries
Loan payments and tracking
File and scan copies of all pertinent documents
Utilize, update and manage all tools and resources available to manage workload, including checklist, data bases, logs and other related reporting tools
Work with Property Managers
Prepare, process and distribute communication with homeowners and tenants, as appropriate, regarding monthly account statements, late notices and other pertinent data
Balance client checking account monthly and prepare monthly financial statements for Owners
Successful Applicant
Education High School diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS with related experience preferred
Three years? commercial real estate experience preferred
Computer literacy and familiarity with property management systems ? Skyline software experience preferred
Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel
Quick Books experience
Ability to multi task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent quality work product to property managers, tenants and clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized
Ability to think independently while working within a group
