We are searching for a talented, ambitious and driven Software Engineer to our diverse product development team. We are looking for someone that can learn quickly on the job, thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere and that can bring fresh/new ideas to the table as we look to continue to grow our software group and service offerings. We are looking for someone that will fit-in with our established team, but also someone that will have a voice of their own.
Your responsibilities will include:
Review and assess product development requirements and develop feature specifications
Design technical solutions to meet product requirements in context of long term roadmap
Build highly scalable, distributed services that run in public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures to support IoT
Test and deploy every aspect of IoT solutionCreate technical and configuration documentation for all users (product team members, business engineers, etc.) in compliance with internal and external guidelines and policies
Support IoT platform utilization services
Work with Product Management Deployment Services to successfully deploy services
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving IoT device solutions
Participate in the analysis, configuration, support and ongoing maintenance of the IoT platformParticipate in oversight of technology upgrade
Subject Matter Expert for teams performing device analysis and certification processes with integration to IoT product solutions
Manage schedule and be accountable to deliverables in a fast paced agile environment
Contribute to the architecture design of our clients? IoT core services platforms
Continuing to remain current on the latest IoT technology
Research and deploy new tools and technologies to build a sustainable IoT platform
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. In Lieu of Bachelors Degree, HS Diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of related application development experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in software development designing, developing & debugging scalable solutions
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience executing projects utilizing Agile methodology
Practical experience , C#, Java, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Azure
Experience leading scrum teams or SW
Possess solid understanding of software development fundamentals
Experience with contemporary development tools such as Git, continuous integration, automated testing frameworks, etc.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
Actively collaborates with engineers and peer teams, voluntarily shares information
Passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions
Self-directed and able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently as well as a team
Some experience in native app development for iOS or Android or hybrid platform like Xamarin or Cordova
