We are looking for a kitchen sales designer to join our highly successful retail and builder sales team.
Wood Palace Kitchens is the premier kitchen, bath and built in cabinetry provider to homeowners, remodelers and new home builders for over 38 years. Located in Middleboro at the crossroads of Southeastern MA we service all of Southeastern Mass, Cape Cod and the Islands.
Candidates should possess a strong ability to seek out and evaluate opportunities, to create conversations and relationships that lead to kitchen sales. The successful candidate can recognize client desires and gather needs in order to translate them into conceptual kitchen, bath and other room designs, present the options including pros and cons and work with clients to arrive at contract decisions. Attention to detail is a must in needs gathering, measuring and accuracy in design. The sales designer must be adept at taking on challenges, meeting deadlines, prospecting and making deals.
The successful candidate will possess creative skills, project management skills and strong communication skills as follows:
· Creative skills. Conceptualize Design, Visualize, Sketch ideas, Integrate client?s wishes and needs into design. Knowledge of good design principles. Ability to do hand drawn, conceptual designs and complete designs on 20/20 design software. Author designs and work with design staff in a collaborative environment to enhance designs.
· Project Management Skills . Manage projects, coordinate with others. Critical thinking, problem solving skills. Take the initiative. Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines and budgets.
· Communication Skills. Consult, Listen, Interview, and Collaborate and interact with clients and internal customers to the best possible design and experience for the client.
· Ability to take accurate measurements a must.
· Good overall computer skills.
