A $500M+ manufacturing company that's growing rapidly and has a state of the art corporate headquarters in the Horsham, PA area has a newly created positions that will initially be called an Accountant, but which will quickly evolve into a more traditional fp&a role after someone learns the business. This role is designed to allow someone to learn business operations from the ground up so as to become an effective financial partner. This will work as part of a lean team which is comprised of individuals who come from Big 4 public accounting as well as marque corporate finance rotational programs. Extremely unique opportunity for a career oriented and polished 1-3 year professional.
Position Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger including all necessary adjustments, journal entries and postings as required
Run monthly profit & loss reports, checking for accuracy and supporting each business unit manager
Create purchase requests and manage progression of those submissions
Maintain AR aging reports and ensure collections steps are taken as appropriate
Be the lead and "go-to" for ad-hoc projects as well as each department when they are in need of financial information
Help create, maintain and improve financial operational standards company wide
Positions Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a good GPA reflective of someone with a strong drive and work ethic
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and other ERP or financial systems
1-3 years of experience in a large public accounting firm or large corporate environment
High energy, driven, strong critical thinking skills with an ability to see the "bigger picture"
