The Accounting Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, direction and supervision of accounting operations. The position has oversight of the financial control areas of general ledger, payroll, disbursements, accounts receivable, billing, fixed assets, cash receipts and financial analysis. The Accounting Manager ensures that accounting practices are in accordance with established legal, regulatory, and organization procedures. The Accounting Manager will function effectively in all positions under direct supervision (AP, AR, billing, and payroll) as needed.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or the equivalent skills, experience and education required.
Minimum three to five years? in a supervisory role overseeing multiple financial control areas
Minimum three to five years? experience performing financial analysis, preparing financial statements and cost accounting.
Previous experience with general ledger, payroll and HR systems conversion.
High level of competence with accounting software systems, payroll processing software, database management and custom report writing.
