The Staff Accountant position is responsible for the day to day accounting operations covering multiple companies.

Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, the Staff Accountant will be functionally responsible for general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in the US. The Staff Accountant will work closely with leadership and staff, not only to educate them regarding accounting procedures but also to explore how the Accounting function can support program operations better.
The Staff Accountant will support the Sr. Finance Manager, and may be tasked with the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, cash management and risk management and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards. Daily utilization of NetSuite ERP system to manage A/R, A/P, sales orders, collections, etc. In addition, s/he will partner with senior leadership, and the human resources (HR) and information technology (IT) staff to enhance and better integrate finance, HR, and IT functions.
Principal Accountabilities:
Prepares consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Develops and implements company policies to help drive internal controls around financial reporting.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Provides accounting support for multiple business under central management structure.
Preparation of the Weekly Sales Flash Reporting
Monitor and analyze expense reporting process.
Qualifications
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a growing Accountant with 2-3 years of GL accounting experience. Experience within a manufacturing industry is a plus.
The Staff Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration; Having a CPA designation and progressively responsible experience is a plus.

Accounting, GAAP compliance, accrual accounting, month-end close, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, PC Proficiency, Productivity, Verbal Communication, General Math Skills
Exceptional skills with Excel, Quick Books and NetSuite (history utilizing NetSuite is a Big Plus)
